how do I save a scanned photo?

Postby tadd5181 » Sun Dec 07, 2014 12:01 am

I am brand new to silverfast and to plustek 8200i scanner (I am using it with a Mac computer. I am fumbling my way through learning how to use it. My first two questions:
1. how do I save a scanned photo? I usually have found "save" and/or "save as" under file but not in this program.
2. is there an after-market printed manual for the scanner and/or program other than that which comes w/ the scanner and software?

Dear customer,

The image is being saved when you perform the final scan.
It is saved to the location/name selected in the Scan Dimensions dialog.

Our documents and tutorial movies are located in our website's download area.

Additional information can be found in our Support Assistant and SilverFast Knowledge page.

Kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn.

where do I find "scan dimension dialog"? I was told that is where I can save/export a photo once it is scanned. But I don't know where to find that.

Dear customer,

the scan dimensions dialog is located at the left side of the SilverFast 8 Window.
It is the first dialog in the list.

The standard path would be the pictures folder of your user account.

Kind regards,
