Hi I am teaching photography at an Nz high school.
We have recently moved from darkroom to digital although students are still shooting with film and scanning their negatives.
We are using a Plustek Optic Film 7200i but we are getting very poor quality scans from this machine. Extremely pixelated.
We are scanning at 1200dpi.
very frustrating because these images are for their final portfolio and this machine is bringing down the quality of their images.

Re: Help need with Resolution issue
Dear WEGC
You can move the resolution slider up to 3600 dpi which will give you the maximum optical resolution of your scanner. I am sure you will obtain better digital versions of your pictures.
Cheers
