I am reading in this forum about a various problems people have using Linoscan 2650 with LaserColor ... Well sure enough we do NOT have any problems using Linoscan 2650 with LaserColor on Mac OS 10.5.4 at all. We use SCSI connection with ADPT29160 card which works absolutely flawlessly ! Works now and was working since we come from FireWire on OS 9.X.
As I have out line in other post of mine today with this new version of this software for OS 10.5.4 results are just simply great ! Very happy about the whole system.

Dear jhdesign,
good to know, but there are really people having trouble with Leopard & the 2650.
We are still looking at this, i start to believe that it depends on the SCSI Adapter used...
Thanks for the feedback,
Nils Heidorn

Hello,
Well this reply is surprise to me, hearing about people having a problems ... Since from first beginning using this scanner Linoscan 2650 and SilverFast software I did not have ONE (!) problem what so ever. Combination of SilverFast and Linoscan 2650, works absolutely smooth, quick and SilverFast software to me is absolutely pleasant surprise specificaly this lates release for Mac OS 10.5.4.
SilverFast is High End operating software with futures leveling most requiring demands from operator. Again. Results I am getting are simply unbelievable !!!
I use to scan my 8x10 transparencies on drum scanner but with this setting I am so overwhelm, that most of these transparencies will not leave studio any more for scanning outside. We are talking about art reproductions as well as commercial photography for bus-shelters and billboards where final size of print comes to size of 8-9 Feet x 38-42 Feet !!!
Anyhow. If you will have any questions I will gladly reply.
Cheers
Jan
