120/220 Nikon Holder
I cannot get the software to recognise that I am using FH-869GR film holder (120/220 Film rotaing holder with glass) with a Coolscan 9000 and Silverfast ,it worked fine with Nikon software and my old operating system.

Dear Murrayclose,
this would normaly be a support issue and you would need to contact suppport if we can not resolve this issue here in a reasonable time, as direct contact to our support should be quite more sufficiant.
I would need to know ehich SilverFast Version you are using and if you run it on Mac or Pc.
It is also very important that you use the "inlay" for the holder as it would not be recognised by the scanner without it.
best regards,

Re: 120/220 Nikon Holder
Dear Thomas,
I am running mac 10.5.2 with Silverfast 6.6.or3. I place the film in the holder as I do with the 35mm and 120mm carriers and load it in the scanner, which accepts it as normal. The problem arises when the carrier is in the scanner ( Nikon 9000) and will not be recognised.
Best
Murray

Re: 120/220 Nikon Holder
After speaking to Nikon at length about the 120/220 carrier it transpires that the carrier should be recognised without the masks/inlays. This I know to be true since I only use this carrier to scan XPan negs and there are no masks available. I have used the carrier successfully with the Nikon software in OS 10.4.
I am using OS 10.5.2 and the latest version of Silverfast 3.1.1.
Help please
