Why is scan no longer active??

Hi I recently upgraded my Mac to OS X 10.2.3. Now when I launch Silverfast Epson 1600 Expression in both Classic and OS X, it opens ...allows prescanning but will not let me complete the actual scan. The scan tab is simply grey out - cannot click on it anymore. Thought if it was an OS X probelm I would still be able to use it in Clasic or OS 9 mode. But no such luck ..help!!!

By scan tab, do you mean the scan button ?

If this is the case, and if the scan button is greyed, then I assume, you are using a demo version, which is expired.
