Where did multi-sampling go in v8?

I'm trying out the new version on my Epson V750 and can't find the multi-sampling control anywhere.

Dear dkressler,

Multi Sampling is not included in SilverFast 8 because all tests had the result that Multi Exposure is doing the same (not technical but in the scan results, they are better).

I have to say that in all of my tests, and i have been using silverfast for well over 10 years professionally, I get much better results on my V750 and Nikon 8000 with multi-sampling. I would love to upgrade to v8 as I am now able to run all of my other production software on Lion. Looks like I will have to continue to run v6 for my scanners on a SnowLeopard partition. I guess this is the end of SF upgrades for me. If you bring back multi-sampling, please let me know.
