Hi,
I want to break up my digitizing work flow with my Silverfast Archive Suite into two parts: scanning and data collection with no/minimal processing by my nephew (who has minimal computer skills) on his old WinXP home computer (dual core processor, 2 GB memory); I pick up the files on my next visit, and process them on my fast Win 7 system in batch mode (HDR Studio/ Hot Folder). What is the minimum Silverfast software we would need to purchase for the data collection computer? What scan optimizing would he have to do as part of the scanning?
Note: he is an English major/ poet, but needs the money.
Thanks,
Burk

Hi Burk,
There are two types of Archive suites the one for beginners SilverFast Archive suite SE: http://www.silverfast.com/show/silverfast-archive-suite-se/en.html
and SilverFast Archive Suite for professional purposeshttp://www.silverfast.com/show/silverfast-archive-suite/en.html, the HotFolder is an option which is purchased separately only available for the big Archive Suite.
Cheers
