what are the advantages of ver 8 over ver 6.6

What are the advantages of ver 8 over ver 6.6?

are there any thing ver 8 has or does better, but ver 6.6 does not?

I currently have a 6.6 SE Plus, I am not sure if I should pay $149 to upgrade it.
