When I prescan the 4x5 transparency calibration target it looks fine, but when I hit calibration > start, the preview image contains vertical streaks, starting from the top of the woman?s head and running to the top of the frame.
I've made a number of successful scans, including the IT8 target as a test, so my new scanner (Mictotek 1800f) seems to be working fine otherwise.
How do I fix this? I'm using Silverfast v. 642r5.
Thanks!
Vertical streaks during IT8 calibration

Hello,
I suggest that you contact our support team http://www.silverfast.com/problemreport/en.html
You could mention in your message, if you have these stripes when the scan is performed (at the beginning of the calibration) or when the icc profile is applied (at the end of the calibration). Indeed, there could be a different of quality or bit depth between the scans depending on your settings (e.g. the scan for the calibration is always 16 bit scan, whereas the prescan is an 8 bit scan if it is set to "Fast Prescan" and the CMS settings are off in the options dialogue).
It would also be interesting to know, if ScanWizard also has such stripes when the icc profile created with SilverFast is used.
Cheers,
Thomas
