I've recently bought this set up and am finding my way around Silverfast.
I cannot access the software presently (it's working hard!) but am having a problem with it....I scan selecting source as "transparancy" (where the alternative is "reflective" and "negative" where the alternative is positive and yet when the final scan opens in photoshop - I have to invert it. I am using Negafix Tri X profile.
Thanks
Charly

Re: V750 B&W neg scanning
Dear Charly,
from you description I would say that you are scanning in 16 Bit greyscale or 48 BIt Color HDR mode.
This HDR mode is intended as a RAW format to work with our SilverFast HDR workflow.
If you do not want to process the Image in SilverFast HDR but want to apply the settings in SilverFast Ai do not use the HDR modes.
best regards from Kiel,
