Upgrading Scanners and SilverFast SE

I'm impressed with the demo of SilverFast SE and would like to buy it so I can use my old UMAX 1200S under Jaguar. A new scanner is on the horizon, though. If I purchase this software for the UMAX and then purchase a new scanner, do I have to repurchase the whole application at its full price? Sorry to post this on this forum, but I looked all over for a way to ask this question on the site and didn't find any friendly ways to do it. Thanks in advance for any information.

The SilverFast SE version is a very low price version. If you like to buy another SE version you have to pay the normal price. If you like to buy another SilverFast AI version, please ask our sales for the price.
