Mac OS 10.3.4
I am using Silverfast Ai 6.1.0r5 as a Photoshop CS plug-in for my Epson 2450 flatbed scanner. I plan on adding a Nikon Coolscan 5000 for negatives. If I purchase Silverfast Ai for the Nikon, would it be possible to have two Silverfast plugins operating out of Photoshop? I assume that only one scanner would be turned on at a given time.
I previously made this inquiry via the email function of the Silverfast site about two weeks ago, but have not yet received a reply. I'd be grateful for information.

Dear Felix.
It?s no problem to have multiple versions of SilverFast installed on the same system.
However, there is a known problem, when a Nikon scanner (via firewire) is switched on together with a scanner of another manufacturer. The other scanner is not recognized. Nikon is informed. The workaround is to have one scanner switched on at a time only.
Please try the free demo before purchasing.
Best regards
