I have an Epson 4870 and the latest version of SF AI. When I make a selection and zoom in using the magnifying glass, the color shifts towards brown and the image becomes much darker. Upon exiting zoom mode the selection tone and color returns to normal. In some cases the zoom shows only a white image.
Any help would be most appreciated.
Regarding my machine - XP Pro SP2, Athlon 3800+, DFI Lanparty nf4 SLI-DR, 2 gig Corsair mem, Audigy 2 zs, BFG GeForce 6800 Ultra OC 256M (running nf4 78.01 drivers), Apple 23" Cinema Display

zooming shifts colour
I have exactly the same problem with silverfast v6.4.2r5d (for a microtek artixscan 1800f) shifting colour when you zoom in - osx tiger 10.4.2. This is a recent problem but it has made it very hard, almost impossible, to judge colour, both for calibrating and scanning. Since colour accurate scanning is critical for me for the first time I have found myself contemplating other software.
Anyone heard any feedback from Lasersoft?

dumping prefs
Have just tried dumping the prefs - one of my least favourite silverfast tasks since setting it back up again takes a while (the ability to export settings and reimport them would be VERY helpful - also 'the official guide' covers settings in a number of different places which makes setting up the program overly complex.
Anyway... did that and no joy. Still get a massive colour shift on zooms (exactly as reported by the first post -- darkens and goes brown).
