Are there any plans to support HTC color profiles in future releases of Silverfast? It seems that these allow much better calibration. I'm really a novice in this area, so I'm just curious.
It seems that the HTC color profiles are used especially for high end scanners (e.g. drum scanners). Are these sophisticated profiles a waste for consumer level flatbed/film scanners?
Here are some more infos on HTC profiles:

Olaf,
You can certainly use profiles based upon the HTC targets. However, you can't create the profile using the SilverFast IT8 calibration module. If you really want to create profiles based upon the HTC target you'll need to obtain third party software that supports it (e.g. GretagMacbeth iMatch 2.x and PMPro4.1.x)
