The software calls SANE. It works under Linux and under MacOS X
At the next time it is possible to Scan with GrafikConverter!
Better as pay 119 Euro!

nobody will force you to pay EUR 119,- just to be able to scan with your "old UMAX2200 Scanner".
I am quite sure that every SilverFast user in this forum had nobody in front of his door pressing her or him to buy our software.
Go ahead, use any scanning software you like. We won't disagree.
However, ask people who know about scanning, wants and needs best scan results in their jobs, and want professional support, what software products they would recommend.
I doubt that SilverFast will not be named a couple of times...
