Silverfast SE Epson 6.2.Or6 and scanners

I recently inherited an older computer system that has Silverfast SE Epson 6.2 OR6 installed on it.
I received the installation CD and serial number from the original installation when I inherited it.
There was no scanner with the computer when I got it.
I had heard that Silverfast is an amazing program and I'd like to use it.

My question is: Does this edition of Silverfast only support Epson scanners? How can I find out which scanners will work with this version. I looked through the Lasersoft site without really finding a clear answer.
I have a Microtek i300 and Visioneer 7300USB that are about the same age as the computer that I kept from older systems I once owned.

Dear Paul,

the best thing to do would be to contact the Support with the Serial Number of this particular SilverFast Version.
With the Serial Number we could tell you what Scanner is supported, than you could purchase a crossgrade from your SilverFast 6.2 to 6.6 for one of the Scanners you actually have.
