SilverFast SE Epson 4990 : Lose main window.

Postby wattanapol » Sun Nov 06, 2005 6:26 pm

The SFE-6.4.2r9, when I start the application from the SF Launcher v2.1.1

There are only 2 windows represent, Prescan window and Scan Pilot window.

I cannot find any menu / button to activate the application main window which has 3 tabs inside "General", "Frame" and "Densitometer", Therefore I cannot change the Scan Type or Input Type.

Please suggest.

wattanapol,

I get the impression that you just did an upgrade from a previous revision. If you are using a PC running Windows XP try deleting the "prefs" located in C:\Documents and Settings\[your logon name]\Application Data\Lasersoft Imaging\SilverFast\Prefs if you are using Windows XP. I'm not sure of the "prefs" location on a MAC.

If that does not solve the problem then goto the link below and complete a support form.
