SilverFast AI Studio Upgrade

Postby RAG » Wed Jan 12, 2005 8:08 am

Well,

After looking at the features of AI Studio I decided to go for the upgrade, but the version I downloaded and installed does not seem to have any of the new features. In fact it looks exaclty the same as AI 6. The file I downloaded for the upgrade is SFE-6.4.0r9c(Epson).exe

I followed the directions and un-installed AI 6 before installing. I un-installed; deleted the directory under both program files and Adobe CS; restarted my computer; downloaded the file again, but still no luck.

Can anyone tell me what the problem is, do I have the wrong file perhaps? :o

Dear RAG.

When you purchased the Ai Studio upgrade, you should have got a 30-digit serial number.

1. Please press the "i" button on the left side of the preview (the top most icon).
2. In the info dialog, press "Credits".
3. In the credits dialog, press "Upgrade".
4. Now please enter your name and the 30-digit serial number. Your name must be the same as the one you used when you purchased the Ai Studio upgrade online. Then press "Unlock SilverFast".

That should help.

Hello LSI_Flyvbjerg,

Thank you for the alternate response and answer. I also got the following in another Forum and though I'd share for other people.

Dear RAG,

If you've already got the new SF Studio serial, then this page could be helpful:
