SilverFast Ai 6 bundled w/Epson 3200 Pro Scanner

Will the SilverFast Ai 6 software bundled with the new Epson 3200 Pro flatbed scanner also work with my Nikon Super Coolscan 4000ED film scanner? Your web site indicates support for both scanners. I was wondering if the software is fixed to a specific scanner? Regards, Paul N.

Silverast Ai is customized for each scanner and thus will not work across scanners.There will be other limitations if the bundled version is SE and not the full Ai product.

HDR will take raw output from any scanner supported and you can make adjustments that way. If you have Ai for the Nikon CS4000, i believe that it came with HDR.
