Is HiRePP already integrated in HDR-demo-
version? I have downloaded a demo of HDR-
version 5.5.1, but I couldn't see any better
performance! I have opened a 100-MB-bitmap
in more than 10 seconds!

HiRePP is indeed included in the latest HDR demos. It won't immediately work with just ANY large image, it requires the image to be pre-processed with a HighRePP compliant program (another version of SilverFast).

In other words, in order to take advantage of HighRePP, you would need to scan the original image with a HighRePP version of SilverFast.

If you aren't using other versions of SilverFast, you can use this method:
1. Open the 'un-HighRePPed' image in SilverFast HDR.
2. Set HDR to output 48/16 bit raw.
3. Process the image.

From this point on, the image will have the HighRePP data embedded, and should open much quicker.

This is sort of a 'one-time' optimization method.
