Silverfast 8 Ai Studio Update: how?

Many answers by Lasersoft staff to users remarking about the lack of some features in Silverfast mention that they will be implemented in a coming update.
Could you describe how this update will be made available to users and at what cost, if any?

Dear Faurean,

it is quite normal that errors are corrected in a software update.
We regularly every few weeks updates. These are always free.
