SilverFast 6, Mac OS 10,Photoshop 7 Query

Is it true that to use Photoshop 7 with LaserFast 6x on a Mac OS X system, that you have to always turn off Classic mode? Or have I fouled something up?

Running Classic in the background shouldn't normally cause problems and I've not come across any. However, if you don't need Classic to be running then it is better only run it when required.

BTW: Classic in OSX 10.2 opens a lot faster than prvious versions.
