Silver fats and config file

Is there any configuration file recordable with Silver Fast ?
I would like to keep a record of ALL the parameters used to scan my images... and if possible write the SilverFast config file to precisely parameter the software.

you can find those in the SilverFasr preferences folder:

On a typical Windows XP installation, the SilverFast "Prefs" folder is to be found at:
C: \ Documents and Settings \ (your username) \ Application Data \ Lasersoft Imaging \ SilverFast \

On a typical Mac OS X installation, the SilverFast "Prefs" folder is to be found at:
/ User / (your username) / Library / Preferences / LaserSoft Imaging / SilverFast /

I found a file namded desktop.ini in the specified folder. It contents almost nothing :

Is it because I've only a demo version to evaluate the software ?

You must be looking in the wrong place. The correct location contains five sub folders: Jobs; Negafix; Prefs; Previews; and templates.
