Hi,
Im scanning 8x10 slides with the Film Area Guide that comes with the epson v700. I am trying out different software to use with the v700 in order to see which will produce the best image quality.
When I scan the images with epson scan there is no problem. However when I try the SilverFast SE8, it cuts the sides of the slide in the scanned image. How do I change the setting in order to get the full scanning area?
Also, have anyone used v**s**n? How is it compared to Epson Scan and SE8?
Thanks,
S

Re: Set frame dimensions for SE8 with Epson v700
Dear customer,
The EPSON V750 has two transparency modes.
The standard transparency has a limited area but offers infrared correction and a higher resolution.
The full area mode allows you to scan the entire scanable area.
This can be switched in the transparency/reflective selection button in the upper left area of the SilverFast window.
It is located next to the negative and bit-depth selection icons.
Kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn.
