SE 6.01r30 crash with epson

Hi

I just downloaded version 6 SE (TWAIN-Version) and installation was successful.
By selecting the scanner source the pop up window shows not the symbol of the software, only a description. (SE 5 works fine and shows a graphic symbol) After clicking on this description and starting the scan, page manager (epson twain scan software) quits with an error 2.

Demo version of 6 Ai worked fine, but I would like to install the SE version. As the German support is not very helpful, I hope that somebody in this forum may give me some hints.

thank you for forwarding my comment to the support team.
May be one of the readers of this forum run into similar problems and may give me some hints.
Therefore some more details on my computersystem:

OS 9.2.2
Epson 1200 SCSI
Silverfast 6.01r30 (twain version)
