Scanning Multi Slides Using Silverfast 8 on Mac

Hi

I have been trying to setup batch scans for my slides using silverfast 8. But I'm having trouble getting the reflective setting to transparency. The only option I'm given is 'Reflective'.
From what I have read I need to change the setting from Reflective to the Transparency.

I'm using a mac

Can anyone help?

Dear customer,

This normally happens when the scanner looses the connection to it's transparency unit.

Please shut down SilverFast and the scanner.
Then check the cable connecting the transparency unit in the lid to the chassis of the scanner.
Disconnect and reconnect the cable.
Then restart the scanner and SilverFast.
The transparency mode should be back.
