Scanning film negatives & slides
I have just purchased an ArtixScan M1 film and slide scanner by Microtek and am using SilverFast Ai Studio. -- At least I am trying to learn how to use it. Being a beginner at this (I am moderately adept at Photoshop and computers in general), I am sure that what I am about to ask is quite dumb -- but here it is: When I scan a strip of film -- I am using the individual frames to identify each indivual negative. However what I get after the scan are photos the same size as the negative -- of no use. What am I supposed to do about setting the size so that I get an output which could give me the ability to print a high quality photo of 8 x 10. It is possible that the manual has explained this, but if it has, I didn't understand it.
