Prescan window is minimised when Studio Ai is opened

I am running SilverFast Ai Studio Ver. 6.6.0r 1 on a Microtek F1 Scanner with the Universal Launcher 3.1.1. When I open up SilverFast in preperation for doing a Prescan the window where the Prescan would appear has been mininised and is just sitting at the top next to the main part of the open program.
After pressing Prescan the scanner goes throught its actions but the Prescan image does not appear.
Has anybody encounted this problem before?

Dear kanga,

this problem is not a common issue and you should first of all delete the prefs with the SilverFast Launchers build in Service Menu,
I am pretty sure this would do the job.

Thanks Thomas, Problem Solved.
I was even contemplating having to reformat my HD and reinstall all programs. I had tried reinstalling Ai Studsio a couple of times but nothing changed.
