Prescan the whole stripe (Microtek 120tf)

Postby kochephoto » Tue Jun 15, 2010 3:41 am

Hi fellow film shooters,

I'm new and trying the Silverfast Ai IT8 6.6 with my "new" Microtek 120TF.

Is there any way to prescan the whole 120 stripe (3 frames of 6x6).
I ask that because I use to make a prescan of 3 frame with my epson 4870, then select the frames, make the adjustments for each frame, then scan.

With the microtek 120tf, I found that it's VERY VERY long to sprescan one frameat the time. And I have to move the film strip since the scan area is fixed.

Thanks for your help.

Dear kochephoto,

The set scanning area of the 120tf is not large enough to scan the holder at once.

kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn.
