:( I had the above for a Christmas present to enable me to scan loads of old slides. Every one has come out pink! Also I cant find them when they have been save to file! Please help.

P 242 of the manual may help.

regarding "pink"scans - search the forum, chk the scan type - positive (slides) or negative ( negatives), chk "color cast removal" slider, chk the white point on the prescan for RGB value.

Make sure you are at the latest version for your scanner - use the web update feature since it is the easiest. If you have a version before 6.5 you can update to 6.4.x for free. Any update from 6.4.x to 6.5.x or higher is for a fee as i understand it unless the scanner manufacturer provided 6.5.x in the box.
