I've read some posts about installing Photoshop vs. Twain for my Plustek film scanner. I have Photoshop Elements 8 so I'm inclined to use the Photoshop installation but I also have an Epson photo scanner which indicates that it will work with other software if it is Twain compliant. I would like to use Silverfast for both scanners. Can I install 2 versions, one Photoshop and the other Twain? If not, I'm inclined to use Twain so I can use it with both scanners. If I do that, what features if any will I lose? My desktop uses Windows 7 64. I want to install it on my laptop too. That is running Windows XP.
Thanks for your help.

Re: Photoshop vs. Twain
Dear Paul,
it is recommended to install the photoshop/stand alone version.
You must have for each scanner its own SilverFast version then you can use both scanners, but not at the same time.
You can install it at different computers.
Best regards
