Panther Support

With Panther upcoming, I would like to find out whether an update to Silverfast Ai 6.0.1r23 will be necessary to run my Epson 2450 in Mac OS 10.3 (from within Photoshop CS, also forthcoming soon). Silverfast has performed without a hitch through a series of OS 10.2 updates (now in 10.2.6). Will the same version Silverfast carry on into 10.3?

SilverFast and Panther

Dear Felix,

the latest version of SilverFast should not have any problems with Panther. We will start testing shortly and if there will be any problems, there will be a free update for version 6 users.

I just thought I would report back that there is no problem scanning with Silverfast Ai 6.0.1r23 (for Epson 2450) into Photoshop CS in Mac OS 10.3, 'Panther'. After doing the Panther system update, and before installing the Photoshop update, I had copied the Silverfast and Twain Plugs ins from the Adobe Plugins/Import-Export folder against the possible need to replace them in the newly installed Photoshop CS.
However, the installer preserved the plugins.
