Operating systems; calibration

Postby markdee » Wed Jan 29, 2003 4:29 am

Question 1 - In general, when you buy LS6Ai, do you receive software for both Windows and Mac? I am planning on switching to a Mac later this year.

Question 2 - If the answer to the question above is yes, I have this question: If I purchase LS6Ai for an Epson 2450 and there is no software available at this time for OSX, will I be able to receive the OSX software without charge when available ?

Question 3 - If I purchase IT-8 calibration software and a reflective target, will this same software be used to calibrate using a transparency target? What if the transparency target is bought a year later?

Dear markdee.

1. If you purchase SilverFast you are entitled to use both MAC and PC plugins. You can use PhotoShop and Twain plugins and you can use the languages german, english, french, italian, spanish and portuguese.

2. Updates within the same major release are free. That means that you can download updates from our website at a later time.

3. The IT8 calibration option can be used with both reflectives and transparencies. You can use the targets that LaserSoft delievers or you can use third party targets.

Best regards
