I just bought a Plustek 7600i SE 35mm scanner that came with SilverFast software (SilverFast Uscan v6.6.1r5). I am finding the software daunting to learn and consequently I have a couple of questions that I have not been able to find answers for in the manual:
1) My images are coming into Silverfast soft (out of focus). What's up with that? I am a retired professional photographer so I know the 35mm slides are sharp.
2) When I try to work with the SDR, I cannot find away to make the preview image larger, large enough to see the areas that need correcting with the lasso function. How do I make them large enough to be usable?
Any suggestions or tip would be helpful.
Thanks!

Re: Newbie Questions
Hi Brodie
The preview in SilverFast is a low resolution preview, a high res preview will take too much time
You have to increase the scan resolution, the higher the scan resolution the bigger pictures will appear in the SRD preview for correcting
Cheers
