new scanner - need to upgrade

I have just purchased and installed an Epson Perfection V700 Photo Scanner, which comes with SilverFast SE. I currently own SilverFast Ai Studio for a Microtek ArtixScan 1800f. Is there a way to receive some kind of credit without paying full price to upgrade this software to Ai Studio? The Microtek died and cannot be used. Please advise.[/b]

I just had a similar experience. Contact Kitten at SF in Florida and she can do a cross grade for you. This is cheaper then upgrading the AI version that came with the Epson.
