multiple scanners

Hi I'm Andrea from Italy ...for Christmas I want to buy a copy of your great software for my little scanner!
My quation is:
I want to use the program with different scanners (for example : now I have an epson V100 and in the future I'll buy another scanner from Canon) , is it possible? I'll have to download something else?
With the same software I could manage different scanners of different vendors?
I've also a Canon Rebel Xt... for use Silverfast eith it with version do I need?

Dear Andrea,

to use SilverFast with several Scanners you need to purchase individual licenses for each Scanner. The SilverFast version to use is also different for each Scanner.
For Digital Cameras you would need SilverFast DC
