Multiple installs of SilverFast on Mac

I already have SilverFast AI 5.5 for Nikon 4000 on a Mac G3 and it has worked very well. Now I have a new Epson 3200 Pro flatbed scanner that came with Silverfast AI 6, which I have not yet installed. Am I going to have problems with two installs of Silverfast on the same computer, or will they remain completely separate? I would appreciate any instructions/suggestions before I start. Thanks.

There are no problem to install multiple versions of SilverFast. Each model uses its own preference files and previews.
