Multi Exposure for DigitDia 4000?

Postby Toronto » Wed Dec 20, 2006 5:03 pm

Hi everybody,

the multi sampling feature is not working (the icon is not coming up) when I use my DigitDia 4000 and I am wondering for what I paid the upgrade money? The only new feature in the combination with my slide scanner (I am using Silverfast Ai Studio) seems to be the frame detection, which is not working properly anyway...

Does anybody know when the multiple sampmling feature willbe available for the DigitDia4000??

Cheers
Thorsten

multisampling DigitDia

Hi Thorsten,

The multisampling icon is directly underneath the iSRD icon. You will only be able to see it if you're running Silverfast Ai Studio. The Ai version (without "Studio") doesn't have multisampling.

Hope this helps

Hi,
thanks for your answer.

SORRY, I meant the new multi-exposure function!

I am using the Studio AI Version, but the icon below the iSRD only displays the multi-sampling function (1-16), not the new multi-exposure function (2-4), which should be activated regarding their instruction video, after choosing 48bit scan type and clicking on the multi-sampling icon several times until until the new icon "multi expsore" appears.

Or do I understand something wrong here????

Thorsten

Multi-exposure not supported by DigitDia 4000

Postby digi_m » Fri Dec 29, 2006 11:19 am

Thorsten,

based on the "Liste getesteter Multi-Exposure f?higer Scanners" on this website (if you click on "mehr" after calling up details of the description of the multi-exposure feature), you'll see that our scanner is not listed (unfortunately!!).
I don't know whether this is something Lasersoft/Reflecta/Braun plan to incorporate at a later point in time.

Hope this helps

Hi,

I got the following email from the support:
"momentan steht MultiExposure nur f?r eine kleine Anzahl von Scannern zur Verf?gung. Wir werden aber im neuen Jahr weitere Scanner testen und f?r MultiExposure freigeben."

meaning: Multi-Exposure is not available now, but maybe in the future.

Lets hope

Multi Exposure still not working!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Postby Toronto » Thu Feb 22, 2007 1:17 am

Hi,

the list of available scanners for the Multi-Exposure Feature now includes the Reflecta DigitDia 4000. So I updated to the newest Version (using Silverfast Studio Ai 6.5.0r4) and changed the scan-type to 48bit HDR, but there is still no multie xposure button coming up. I also tried clicking on the multi-sampling button (from No.1 to 16), but no multi exposure feature is there!

What can I do??
Thnaks
