Minolta slide film holder

I have recently downloaded the trial version of Silverfast SE to see if I can work with it. I have a Minolta Dimage Scan Elite 5400, working with Vista. The trouble is I cannot seem to get the software to work with the slide film holder and automatically scan all 4 slides in the holder. Can anyone help please? It's not much use without this functionality!

Dear mikekillingley,

You only need to switch to batch mode in the general settings and select the images to be scanned in the overview.
The Overview can be found among the icons in the preview window. It displays eight little squares.
