Hi
I've just upgraded to version 6.6.0r5.
I'm using both iSRD and SRD (Because that always got me the best results previously). However, with the "View of the picture with marked defects" button selected, I just get the fixed picture, not the version with red marking as I did before. This makes it difficult to spot areas that have been over-corrected.
Is this a bug, or a feature, or a setting that needs adjusting somewhere?
Thanks
Nick

Dear Nick,
very strange this behaviour should have stayed the same with the last release. Could you please tell me if you mean SRD or iSRD ?
Have you already tried deleting the prefs if not please do so.

Re: Marked defects no longer show in red
OK - I've worked out what's going on.
iSRD seems to be much more effective than before. Previously, I'd have an iSRD layer, and then an SRD layer to do most of the correction. What's happening now seems to be that iSRD is finding the vast majority of spots and scratches; so much so that there's hardly anything left for SRD to repair. So it looked like SRD wasn't highlighting in red, but in fact it was iSRD doing all the work.
Well, whatever has changed, I have to say a huge thanks, because it's massively speeded up the scanning process. I was spending several minutes per negative, fiddling with settings and masks. Now I can for the most part rely on the automatics.
Oh, and thanks for the quick reply too.
