Mac OS 10.2 Jaguar

Hi!

I upgraded to AI 6 on Saturday, hoping to work it with Mac OS 10.2 on an Epson 1680.

Silverfast does not "see" the scanner on the USB port. Any ideas?

When will the new version of SilverFast AI 6 be avaiable for Mac OS 10.2? I have and Epson Perfection 2450 with OSX.2 and I just purchased the latest version of Siverfast AI - SFE-6.0.1r11 (Epson) and it does not work with PhotoShop 7.0.1. Please let us know when we should expect to see an update compatible with OSX.2 Thank you!

I would love to get an email when the new version with support for this scanner is out. The 2450 has firewire on it or USB. Neither work. I am dissappointed but I will just have to wait. Please, Please, PLEASE tell me the second it comes out and you will have gained at least one lifetime customer.

Jump to the Epson flatbed scanner forum, and view the announcement there. I also believe the link is on the AI 6 upgrade page.

Follow the instructions for your connection: USB or Firewire. I had to create an Epson folder, as there was none previously.

As a precaution, turn your scanner off, and close down your Mac. Turn the scanner back on, boot up, and you will be pleasantly surprised.

Works for my Expression 1680 in both Photoshop plugin and standalone modes.

But now I need to buy the full version. The SE version that came with the scanner does not work. I had to do a format and re-install to get it to work though. Once I did, it found it with no trouble.

Epson Perfection 2450 and OS-X 10.2

I am expecting my staff to put the latest version for Jaguar for the Epson Perfection 2450 on the web for download on Thursday.

Expect the updated version online any time now!
