I'm not sure if it's ok to post here this issue, if i'm wrong let me know
First of all i say that i scan negatives, 35mm or 6x6, with a reflecta MF5000.
I'm used to other scans and software where i had just to move the lowest point and highest point and include all the histogram in there and i have no problems with black or whites
With this software i am limited as i cannot enlarge this area more than lowering the contrast to -50, but sometimes i can't include all the blacks in the scan even with this step.
So I wonder if i am loosing any step or easy button or anything that i could use to have a more versatile histogram or something like that, i feel stucked with this
Thanks in advance

Re: Lifting black tones
Dear customer,
you can use the image automatic (e.g. Auto CCR) to set them automatically. There are different modes that become available when clicking and holding the Auto CCR button.
You can also adjust them manually in the Histogram dialog by moving the markers below the histogram curve.
Kind regards,
Arne Ketelhohn.
