IT8 targets - do I need to buy them separately?

Hello! Sorry for a stupid question. When buying SilverFast do I need to buy IT8 targets separately? Nothinh is included, right? What about manual? A book?

And what about software which supports calibration with targets? Is it a part of SilverFastr or should be purchased separately?

I mostly shoot Fuji slide films. Does it mean I need to by Fuji IT8 tarhet, not the Kodak one? Why is it twice as expencive as Kodak?

SilverFast Ai Package with IT8-Target?

if you use our order form and order SilverFast Ai with IT8-Calibration, you can specify, whether you want and which target to come with your package.
There is also the choice between a Kodak and a Fuji target. Both targets are available - order for Fuji only takes somewhat longer. If you order from the US, transparency Fuji targets are in stock!

Why is a Fuji fim target so much more expensive? It is the whole production process, film, chemistry, control, etc. Compare with other sources and you will find that Fuji film targets are up to 500US$. You can be sure we have the lowest prices of all!

Just to mention the uniqueness of our IT8-Calibration: Our IT8-Targets have a bar code that will be recognized by SilverFast automatically and the relevent (the correct) reference data will be fetched from the installation. If not available there, SilverFast will go to our web site and fetch it from there!

Thank you Karl! I went to your site at https://www.silverfast.com/order/en.html?product=200 and did order SIlverfast Ai "New version ($ 349.00)".
I also selected "IT8 calibration targets only, no software: 35mm transparency, FUJI ($110)".

I hope that I did it correctly and it is all I need to calibrate and then use Silverfast with my Nikon Coolscan 4000ED.
