Hello,
Today I upgraded from an old version of SilverFast AI to the latest AI Studio with IT8, print calibration, and multi-exposure. I downloaded the new files.
I don't think my original version came with an IT8 target. Will my upgrade include a target, to be physically mailed to me?
I tried using a Monaco Systems it8 target with Silverfast's IT8 calibration...I scanned it and it identified the various colors with dashed boxes in the appropriate locations. However, after the scan I was presented with a dialog to Open a file from my Silverfast's IT8 Reference folder on my Mac. There was no file there to open, so I hit cancel, and then the IT8 calibration window's status text changed to "Impossible to locate the reference file".
Could someone advise on this?
Also, the version of Silverfast that I ordered is for the Espon Perfection V750. However, when I scan a document, the resulting window's title is "SilverFast Epson PerfectionV700" (rather than V750)...is this expected, or incorrect?
Thanks.

Re: IT8 target question (and V700 vs V750 question)
Dear Allan,
Our targets are sold separately, they are not included with any version of the software. If you have ordered a separate target, it should be delivered to you by mail. If you have not ordered yet, you can do so on our online store at: http://www.silverfast.com/show/store/en.html
To be able to make an IT8 calibration you need a standard compliant IT8 target and a reference file. Monaco targets are standard compliant but their reference file is not, hence those targets can only be used with the Monaco calibration software.
The Epson Perfection V700 / V750 are the same scanner, the V750 include other film holder and a different software package than the V700 but the scanner is the same.
Cheers
