IT8 - Kodak Vs. Fuji

Why is Fuji more expensive than Kodak? What do I get for my money?
Also, If I switch scanning from prints to negatives should I switch re-calibrate with a Transmissive rather than a Reflective target? Should it be the same size (35mm, 5x7, etc)?

1) dunno, There was some mention of some Fuji targets being done by hand. They were very expensive.

2) No such animal for negatives. Only transmissive and reflective media. You can serach the newsgroups and this forum for discussions. Negafix (or similar ) is your only choice.
