I purchased Silverfast Ai IT8 for Nikon Coolscan V and Mac OSX 10.5.x. I wish to purchase an IT8 Kodachrome target and upgrade from Ai IT8 to Studio IT8 to multi-exposure functionality with Kodachrome.
What is the difference between the "calibration target only, no software" and the "individually measured targets"?
When selecting a "Kodak" or "Fuji" 35mm transparency
a). what film stock is used in making these targets?
b). of the various Ektachromes, Fujlchromes, and Velvias which film is the target for each?
Over the years I shot with Kodachrome 25, 64, and 200
c). will the IT8 target work for each?
d). what differences might there be?
e). Is it tailored to any one of the three specifically?
When ordering a CD for USPS delivery is hard copy documentation for version 6.6.0r5 included?
Is anything else included?
Thanks,
mf

Dear mf,
thank you for your interest in our product
a).the film stock used for the Fuji targets is Provia 100f and for Kodak E100G
b.) you can use both targets for calibrating your scanner
c.) the Kodachrome target would work for all of these
d.)The Kodachrome targets are manufactured as Kodachrome 64

What is the difference between the "calibration target only, no software" for $37.50 and the "individually measured targets" for $172.50?
I assume there is some difference in the color accuracy but what is the $135 difference. I cannot find any documentation on the difference, just when I go to order there is a choice to make. I would like to make my decision based on something other than price.
Thank you for your previous answers they are helpful.

Re: IT 8 Target Choice
Dear Mr. Fannon,
individual measured targets are as the name indicates measured individually while the standard targets are measured as a batch.
This results in a far better accuracy of the individual measured targets.
