IT-8 Kalibration missing Entry in CMS Dropdown Box

Postby luebbe » Wed Oct 15, 2003 11:58 pm

I tried to follow the steps in the new SilverFast Offical Guide (Sybex) To Calibrate my scanner (page 44)
Taz, Tally suggests, to choose "Calibration" in the CMS-Options for Scanner->Internal. This option is also mentioned in the user manual.

I tried this with SilverFast Ai 6.10r4 with my Nikon Coolscan III.
When I open the Options Dialog (CMS-Tabstrip) I only find two options: <NONE> and ICM (I use Win XP).

But I definitely do not want to work with the Windows Color Management, I just want to calibrate the scanner using my IT-8 target. I thought that the option "Calibration" is exactly for that purpose.

Am I missing something?

The calibration option is no longer available/required. Us Image Color Matching and select your scanner profile. See the following for further info.
