info points

Postby Stefan » Sun Aug 25, 2002 10:17 am

If I set some info points within my preview (I guess,it?s called fixed pipette),they show up in the levels dialog as vertical lines, what`s really very helpful. But only the first of the points shows up.The other ones (up to four in total) don`t.
Why?

Because there is only one value for neutral grey. These four points will set the value at this point to neutral.

I guess,I don`t understand.I did not mean the mid-pipette,but the info points. The info points are just for information, they don`t set anything to gray.So they (max. 4) could easily show up in curves and levels dialogs.

Stefan.

You are right, only one point from the fixed pipette panel is showed in the histogram and gradation dialog. This is normaly the first point you clicked.

However you can select the point which should be viewed. In the fixed pipette panel, you can see the selected info points. At the top left corner of each section you can see a number (#1 .. #4). One of them is red the others are black. Click the mouse on the number you want to see in the histogram and gradation dialog and the appropriate info points number turns into red (and is selected).
