How to remove or disable 'crosshair' on preview with 6.5.0r5

Hi all,

I am using Silverfast Ai Studio 6.5.0r5 with a Nikon LS9000 film scanner. I do not use, or want to use, the auto frame feature. However, my preview image is cluttered up with a very large 'crosshair', which I presume is something to do with the auto frame, or frame alignment, I'm just not sure.

How do I turn off, or disable this giant cross on the preview?

Is anyone else having trouble with this?

Yes, I'm having the same trouble!

However, those people from SF don't care, they don't listen to their customers.
There only response was, that may be a later version will come with a switch.

Luckily, the giant cross is not in the final scan.

But may be this is the next improvement to come.
