How to install new releases?

Hi,
just downloaded the latest release of Silverfast 6SE to solve the ICE problems of earlier versions with Epson 4870.

How do I install the new release? Just execute the file? Or do I need to uninstall earlier versions first?

Dear A_Nose

on Windows you will automatically be asked to uninstall the prior installed version.
On a Mac system you can uninstall the former version by dragging the SilverFast folder(s) to the trash. If you did install SilverFast as a Photoshop plug-in, e.g. you shall find SilverFast program files under

/Applications/SilverFast Application
/Applications/Photoshop/Plugins/Import-Export/
/User/(your username)/Library/Preferences/LaserSoft Imaging/
